Plainly, and only what a booking actually needs. This describes what the site does, not what a template says.

Only what a booking needs, and only for as long as it is useful.
Government ID is encrypted before it reaches our database, with a key held separately from it. A copy of the database on its own cannot be read.
Nobody at the studio browses ID numbers. Staff see only the last four characters, which is enough to confirm which document you gave us.
We store a one way fingerprint of the number so we can tell whether the same document has been registered twice. The fingerprint cannot be turned back into the number.
We never see them. Payments are handled by Paystack, who take your card details on their own systems. What comes back to us is whether the payment succeeded and a reference.
If you register, we ask for the name and number of a referee. We hold those two things and your description of how you know them, and we use them for one purpose: to call and confirm who you are, and to reach somebody if there is an emergency while you are in the studio.
We do not market to them, we do not pass their number on, and we delete it when your registration is deleted. Please make sure they are content to be named before you give us their details.
Four companies, each doing one job:
Bookings and payment records are kept for six years, because tax law requires it.
Your recordings stay until you ask us to delete them.
Registration details are deleted when you close your account, unless a booking still needs them.
A copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Write to hello@acoustikastudios.com and we will answer within thirty days.
Deleting your account does not delete records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
One cookie, to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing shared with anyone for marketing.
Questions about any of this go to hello@acoustikastudios.com.
